Time For A Little Music

We sat down and played some music!!!  We always enjoy doing that!

I got some mandolin practice in this evening too.  Have a lot of new tunes that I’m working on as well as practicing my list of 10 to record next.  It’s a good pace and keeps  me hopping!  That’s good!!

The dogs are all lazing around and taking it easy most of the time.  They like to be covered up with their blankets and will come get us if they need covered up.  Lol  We love them.

We are Back!!

Sooooo ...

Here's my latest YouTube video explaining our absence and what happened. 
We are back and will be posting new videos again. 
As I get my original music copyrighted I'll be sharing those as well. 

This hand injury kept me from a lot of music for over a year and I'm back to everything except Hammer Dulcimer. 
Guitar still hurts but it's bearable. 
It will all get there! 

We will start over posting with Day #1 on here and take off with new videos on Day #8.

October 28, 2017 Flash Mob! Thriller Hannibal, MO

We had a great time downtown last night!

We love our little town on Hannibal, MO.

There is always something going on here!

Our Downtown Historic District is alive and busy and so much fun!

Last night was a Halloween Festivity Evening.

Halloween Parade ...

Living Dead Windows ...

And a Flash Mob!

Thriller!!!

Yes!  

We saw lots of friends.

It was only 35 degrees and the breeze was blowing which made

it seem just a bit colder.

But we were having so much fun that

we really didn't notice how

cold we were until

everything was

over and

we were

heading

to 

the 

car.

I took a video of the Flash Mob

as they danced to Thriller.

Last Session For Joanne ... For a While

It was a wonderful session at O'griff's last night.

Our Irish Whistle player ... Joanne ...

will be leaving to go on a mission within a few days.

It will be two years before we see her again.

We told her that we will play all of her favorite tunes while she's gone.

She will not be forgotten!

We all wish her well

and much success!

We will be thinking of you

while you are gone.

Hopefully you can close your eyes on a Wednesday night ...

Just for a moment ...

The Future Looks Good

As I sit here thinking and pondering ...

making a list ...

evaluating ...

I can't help but smile.

This is going to be a fabulous music year.

Both for me ...

and for my students.

We are going to go on a bit of an adventure.

We're going to stretch out of the box a little bit.

We're going to explore ...

expand ...

try ...

succeed ...

we are going to reach.

I ...

knowing the plan ...

am wound like a top ...

trying not to explode and start all of these activities all at the same time.

One at a time ...

pace ...

no stress ...

prizes ...

fun ...

smiles ...

giggles.

That is our future at Miss Ava's Music Instruction.

The future looks good.
